Planting Hatch peppers in a raised bed with drip tape. Next we will put in T posts and run string weaving through the plants to hold them up.

Peonies are up and healthy
The peonies have come up and seem very healthy – they froze this winter so I was worried about them. Hopefully they will bloom.
Spring Peas and new beds ready for summer crops
The new BCS Tractor is really making everything so much easier this year. New beds were created in Minutes vs Hours. The peas are doing great with the cool spring.
Azaleas in Virginia in the spring
It is Azalea blooming time in Virginia. They go from plain bushes to completely covered in bright blooms. I love driving around and seeing all the colors.
Peaceful evening
Spring is almost here even though it might get close to freezing on Wednesday night. We have started turning the soil for the summer crops and have the electric fences up for the deer. Everything is turning green and the oak leaves are bigger than a squirrels ear which means it is safe to plant.
Growing Jasmine
Jasmine is easy to grow and overwinters in our 7b zone. It was covered with Ice in March but is getting ready to bloom now in mid April.

We planted garlic last fall in the raised bed garden to overwinter. The plants have really grown in the last few weeks and are very healthy.
